I'm also a huge fan of Pink Floyd and having lived during the British Invasion of the Sixties and Seventies, I could have named any number of great British bands.

“Telegraph Road” has been one of my favorite songs since I first heard it over 35 years ago. I enjoy putting it on and driving to it, especially the end part.

The song doesn’t actually end in a traditional sense, i.e. the musicians don’t stop playing. The recording equipment just stops recording.

Interesting. I'll have give that one a more serious listening.

Pink Floyd. But there are so many I could choose in a different mood: Joy Division, The Jam, Feeder, Ash, The Wombats .. I could be here for days ..

The Who. They could blow anyone else away in their day - even The Rolling Stones in a guest spot on their own show:

LOL…I guess you missed the part where it said “favorite”, not list every British band that ever existed.

That’s a hard question, like what’s your favorite sports watch. Sorta depends
Chill out: Pink Floyd
Party time: Stones
Driving: Dire Straights
Walking: Queen
Swimming: Us3
Getting High: Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd (0)(0)
But I really like a variety of music
