Fair point, except the adverse consequences for the woman are so much greater (ie falling in during a middle of the night trip). Plus, it’s not as if guys never use the seat.

One thing life has taught me is that you cannot count on anyone else for the serviceability of your equipment. The more adverse the consequences the more self reliant you should be.

Not sure how anyone could be afraid of falling in the toilet while simultaneously counting on others to ensure it doesn’t happen. My whole life I’ve been using the men’s room and have never once forgot to check before I sat to shat and consequently I have not had a single near drowning experience.
