Of the two in the poll I’d go with the Sub. However, swap out the BLRO for the BLNR on an Oyster and I’d be voting for the GMT.

BLRO

Sub is handsome but a $4K watch with $6K in marketing fees. I like having the Pepsi with a couple Seamasters as tool watches.

The Pepsi is a more unique watch and you will not see it everywhere. The Submariner is great but with so many offerings from Tudor/Omega/Seiko, etc. you can easily find a very reliable diver at a fraction of the cost.

I refer to GMT several times a day, so the BLRO for me. Its water resistance is fine for recreational diving.

Pepsi is the nicer watch. But you’ll probably wear the sub on the daily and thus enjoy it more.

I have both. Got the sub first and then Pepsi. Sub gets more wrist time bc it’s less “blingy.”

That being said I’d never let go of my Pepsi.

I use Zulu everyday for work...so of course the GMT is my choice.

Even with "the Sub is the quintessential Rolex" reasoning, I find that piece extremely boring.
