Incoming Finally -- I'm done

So took about a year. It's been a great journey and in the last couple of years I've been able to acquire:

12 BLNR Oyster
12 BLRO Jub
116610LV
OP 41 Tiffany Turquoise
500LN White
SkyD Jub Blue Dial

Best one? Most wearable, legible, balanced with bling/pop and vivid color, great history, recognizable? The one I've worn and the most? Pepsi!!

Second is the Daytona, more refined and sleaker than the pepsi, one of my favorites! But doesnt have the date wheel complication, and the PCL do not hold up like the Jub and I'm pretty crazy when it comes to scratches.

Third the skydweller. A work of art. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to experience the dial in the sun and how the WG fluted bezel shines with the Jub. And what the breeder does -- it's awesome. Wow! And that red pops. So innovative. Just very THICK !!

Hulk is great, beautiful sunburst dial. A special watch! But I cant keep the thing on for more than a week -- I get sick of it and have to swap it out. I could wear the pepsi for months, straight.

OP41 - what's there not to love. Great summer watch. Hype. Simple. Affordable. All around awesome.

And last the BLNR Oyster... Not much to say...

No interest in other references really... And given the rise in crime I can't ever imagine waking around with a PM to make myself even more of a target. No interest in other brands either.

I'm done. I think this is a pretty solid collection. It screams - hey, I'm different, I go against the grain and think for myself!

Hope everyone is well

Fantastic collection & congratulations on the Blue Sky Dweller. I’m waiting for the white one on Oyster. Work of art indeed.

Fully agree on the Pepsi. IMHO I think it’s the best modern steel reference that Rolex currently produces. Ticks every box.

That’s an incredible collection, and I thoroughly enjoyed your review and thoughtful analysis of each watch in the collection.

I think you still need to get a PM Rolex, and you will.

I still have a classic TT DJ 36 from the 90s and I had the 116618LB PM but I grew sick of it and unloaded it. But who knows, perhaps in 5, 6 years. It would likely be a DD.

HA! I thought the same thing, spoken by many a collector!

OP, congrats! Nice, rounded and apparently complete collection. Contentment is a good feeling. Glad you found it.

Congrats on being able to "cap" your watch collecting haha. I wonder how long it'll last!

I feel like every year my list grows faster than I obtain them for a never-ending collection haha.
