FS: 1978 Rolex Submariner 1680. A very nice, correct Submariner 1680.

FOR SALE:

Circa 1978-79 Rolex Submariner model 1680, serial number 609----. This example is in excellent condition , all correct to include the tritium dial tritium hands, original bezel with the correct insert with tritium pearl. It is very correct to include the original brushed silver date wheel.

The full tritium dial is in excellent condition with a nice yellow patina as well as the tritium hands.

The case has been previously polished but is in excellent condition with a few very light scratches and marks. The lugs are very nice as well as the crown guards. The case exhibits some of the lug chamfers with the serial and model numbers fully visible between them. There are no signs of any significant corrosion which is occasionally found on these vintage models.

The 93150 bracelet is in excellent condition and has all of the original 12 links with a clasp code of VC (1978).

The watch is currently running within COSC specifications and will come with a warranty until 12/31/22, with my watchmaker here in Dallas.

PRICE:

$17,250 plus wire fee and shipping fee. I have all my packages insured by Inforsure and shipped by FedEx to a FedEx owned and operated facility to minimize a potential loss or theft.


RETURNS:

I will accept returns if the watch is misrepresented. Returns are accepted up to 72 hours from when the buyer receives the watch. The watch must be in the same condition as when it was shipped to the buyer.
