Incoming - Tudor Harrods

Got the below email during my family holiday in Greece. Had to get my elderly father to go and pick it up (that was a mission!)

I hope this email finds you well.

We are pleased to inform you that we now have a Tudor Black Bay, Harrods Edition available for your purchase.

Due to the high demand of this watch, we adopt a 7 day (inclusive of weekends) collection and payment timeframe. Additionally all stickers on the timepiece will be removed and the price swing tag retained. The current price of the watch is £3000 however, please kindly note that this may change should the brand have any price increases or decreases before the day you come to collect.

I am looking forward to hosting you in store and, following your confirmation, we can discuss the best date and time for us to schedule an appointment.

Please may you confirm if you would still like to purchase this piece and confirm understanding of this policy within 48 hours.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further queries and I look forward to your response and welcoming you into store to collect your Tudor timepiece.

Been on the list since Oct last year. They run a proper waiting list at Harrods which is great. When dad spoke to the chap he said they get about 10 a week but about 100 new enquiries.

Lovely watch, apologies for the pictures - they are from my father as we are still away!

Can’t wait to get back to try it. Had some wonderful shopping experiences in Harrods, including taking the kids to see Santa etc. This piece means a lot.

Congrats, wear in good health. I'm on the list too, 6months wait is very encouraging, the Tudor Harrods is the best Tudor to have in my opinion, I'm happy today.

I’ll have a look at the number and get some photos on when I get back.

Yes. Waitlist seemed to fly by.

Congrats!

Weird that they mention a possible price increase even though the watch is already there, 'locked' for pick-up.

Wow they're still making/selling these? I put my name down in January 2020 and still haven't got a call and I am a Harrods Gold and Harrods Amex member lol. To be honest I kinda gave up...after I got the new no date Submariner I couldn't wear my Tudor GMT anymore I found it too chunky so as a result I wasn't too bothered about the Harrods edition either. Lovely watch though just too thick for my liking. Wear it in good health!

Dear OP - it is truly a lovely color combination and one I am sure you will enjoy. Do post some pics of the watch!!

Funny - I've always liked this watch and was just logging into this forum to ask about availability. I was thinking about a boys trip to London in a few months with my son and thought this might be a nice present for him - but it looks like, yet again, more waiting-time morass.....

Might those of you with experience in this be able to tell me how / who you contact to get on the list?
