Honestly, really prefer the simpler complication and dial of the DJ41. Everyone else here will go Daytona (which is a great piece too).

I am a huge Daytona fan but the DJ41 looks the best visually to me.

Shocked that the tide is finally turning on the daytona being overrated. The DJ is the nicer looking watch, IMO, and I have no skin in this game.

I do like blue dials and I do like the Daytona but for some reason the blue dial Daytona doesn’t do it for me! So DJ for me on this occasion.

We need a better photo of the Daytona (found online). In this photo I get why the datejust would be deemed the better looking. But on my arm would go for the Daytona. I could never make the datejust work for me. I like it on others and in photos, but for me have to have a sports watch.

I prefer the Daytona of the two. I love that iteration of it.

Someone mentioned it above, judging from photo only Id choose DJ41. Seeing both watches on wrist, Daytona.

Even a better photo doesn’t help me - I think this version really misses the contrast either in the outer circles of the subdials or the whole subdials. I’ve never thought about why this version doesn’t appeal but can now put my finger on it!

Know what you mean. I like it, not a huge fan of the red outline on the sub dials. Will be interesting if they come out with a ceramic FG Daytona.

Did you choose this photo because of all of the stickers?

This here is the one Daytona I want.

I don’t know, just did a quick search and like the way the dial looked a nice dark blue.

I voted Daytona as far as "looks", but the DJ is far more legible.

Lol I mean I didn’t put the stickers on! Just picked a random photo with a great blue dial. Others are welcome to add better photos! I don’t have the watch, so can’t help there. I didn’t even see the stickers.

No, I knew it wasn’t yours J, I was merely commenting on the look of the stickers. It would look great without them.

Everyone who picked DJ41 is lying to themselves. Money no object and you get to pick one for free, the daytona wins.

Im actually curious what the age demographic between the decision of these two watches are. Willing to bet as age in increases more people choose the DJ41

The Datejust with the larger dial and simple baton markers wins for me. True classic

Daytona is more interesting, but the DJ has a beautiful simplicity and great legibility. Classics both.
