Purchase plan for 2023
Does anyone already have their 2023 watch pursuits lined out? This year I picked up a Cartier Santos Blue and Explorer 2 226570 Polar.
For 23’ I’m looking to pick up a White Skydweller and potentially a Glashutte SeaQ Panorama in blue Interested in hearing acquisition targets from others

Have a few APs on my wishlist, so whatever my boutique gives me. Hopefully at least a 30th anniversary ROO (if that happens) or a RO chrono

Mainly playing with preowned ideas...
- Lange 1 Darth - Patek 3940P and 5110P - IWC Ocean 2000 and 3531 Little Portugieser Not sure anything will happen as I am quite happy with my small lot. If the AD came through with a 5740/1G I'd pick it up. |

VC WG ultra thin perpetual calendar and my first Patek.
And I wouldn’t say no to a Daytona on oysterflex, especially WG meteorite. Any two of these would make a great watch collecting year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Only through Q1 2023 as have custom orders coming our way for my Muse/wife and i (Laine and MB&F). From Q2 2023 onward we'll see what Breguet does for its anniversary... and of course new models when they're released.

I am always looking but there is little left that I can either find or want.
I am close to being done with watches

Waiting to pick up my grail in December this year. 2023 will be consolidating time selling a few with remaining 3-4 watches.

I hear ya! I recently unsubscribed from my watch YT channels in the hope of avoiding any temptation. I may have to quit looking at WRUW threads here as well.
My Sub 116610Lvc will eventually be sold to fund a different one as I get older; none of my heirs like it. :( |

Breguet tradition either 7079, 7597 or 7067 would love to pare down overall and turn a few existing watches into one of those.

I keep saying this (to)myself, yet keep not making good on the threat. I currently have no directly stated ‘23 plan, a real small interest list (at the moment), and yet none of this has impeded the collection to date.

5327G, white dial Daytona should come through finally as should my Laurent Ferrier Auto Sport... anything else would be gravy.

I want a Journe centigraphe S but am told 2024. Maybe people will bail and I land one 2023 but I have some doubts given the relatively low production.

Finally expecting my Grönefeld Principia after a 2 yr wait. Hopefully, a pp 5226 if I get the call, if not, a GS spring drive snowflake.

Already pre-paid for (to lock in price) but expecting my Zeitwerk Date in mid-2023. Aside from that, hoping for a Blue Skydweller, Patek 5205r and get allocation of a 34mm AP for wife.
If there is a macro slowdown, it will be interesting to see what else becomes available and how often the phone rings with potential watch allocations ;) |

This year I had two main targets: a Daytona on OF and a 50th anniversary RO. Both were successfully obtained after a long wait.
Main target for next year is a Jumbo. Big ask but SA said that it was possible. I am sure many other minor purchases, sales and consolidations will happen along the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I am most likely getting a Breguet Marine 5817 BR and a vintage Day Date or Datejust with a stone dial (most likely Onyx)
