Mattress Mack has been big time losing streak lately. He lost $26 million between last SB, K Derby and World Series.

[QUOTE=JoeJoeBobo;12450489]They Phillies did beat last years WS Champs in NLDS in order to get there.[/QUOT

Yo, and they did it easily. Not bad for a team many have claimed shouldn't be there. Two more wins baby.

Hard to enjoy baseball it’s got to be the most poorly managed sport top down. Littered with cheating and subjectives. From the steroids to the cheating astros being celebrated like they didn’t win their only World Series by blatantly cheating. Pathetic they weren’t stripped of the title and more. Also it’s incredibly boring.

That said I bet on the astros to win the title in order to get better payout on the bills winning the superbowl so go Astro’s lol

Now it gets interesting. Astros do have a lot more pitching, but this series has been back and forth. Now, it's the best out of 3.

to be fair they're still a ridiculously good team without the cheating. i hate them and especially Altuve but if they win this year that asterisk in 2017 is removed. they've dominated every year since just like the dodgers minus the choking in playoffs

everything else is true, it's a really poorly managed sport. i don't think it's boring though but it's not for everyone. they need to implement the pitching clock asap (coming next season i think) so games aren't 4 hours long and the pace changes drastically. imo football is the easiest to watch and most entertaining, followed by basketball. it would be closer between the 2 if the basketball season wasn't mostly meaningless now with everyone having rest days every other game

sadly this ws is like picking the lesser of 2 evils for me so i can't really get into it lol

I agree that was a horrible decision on their part, just from a business perspective. In business it’s better to be neutral on incendiary topics

That would be great. Game 7 in the WS is always exiting and pressure on both teams. Sports, anything can happen.

I was so, so happy to see Mancini play such a major part in the game.

He literally saved the game for the Astros...and then in an interview right after, he humbly apologized for struggling with the bat.

Trey is a really good guy with a really incredible story. There's a reason whenever the Astros come to town to play that we give him a standing ovation.

Congrats to the Astros. Phillies offense went very cold and mental errors didn't help. Astro had way too much pitching and that's a bad combination for the batters.

Can someone please explain to me the purpose of the jeans the woman is wearing in the first photo posted at the start of this thread? Do you guys like jeans like those on women? At least neither of them had their tongue sticking out of their mouth, which is another fad I simply do not understand...

Speaking as a millennial — she likely bought the jeans with much smaller holes. But buying jeans with holes is dumb, because the fabric then lacks any structural integrity and the holes rapidly get bigger (which is what happened here)

Hi Kathleen. I don’t like them. Not because they have no purpose apart from fashion (men’s neckties have no purpose apart from fashion, but I like them). But because they just look like pre-distressed denim (which I also dislike) taken to an extreme. Pretty sure it’s a throwback to grunge-era ‘90s, but really started with ‘70s punk.

As a Dodgers fan embittered by 2017, it’s hard to say this, but well done Astros and Astros fans. Pitching too good.
