Congrats! It’s an amazing piece. Greater than the sum of its parts.

OP, please don’t. Could you imagine how boring the world would be if we all wore white shirts.

I had no spend history with this AD but a casual relationship in that I would stop by from time to time, chat about the market, watches, what I was looking for etc. We were on a first name basis, however I was starting feel like these visits were becoming a waste of time. So I was curiously surprised when he suddenly asked me "What are you doing tomorrow at 12pm?" My reply, of course was "I'll be in the neighborhood, I'll stop by". There was no mention of anything specific, but he was well aware of my wishlist top three. The Air King being one of them. I had been debating between the older 116900 and the new version 126900. That evening I watched numerous "old vs. new" comparison videos and decided the 126900 was the one to choose. So if it were to be the new version, I would take it. The next day, at the appointed time, it was reviled. All I can say is Wow! The white numerals, silver outlines on the 3, 6, 9, and triangle 12 really pop against the black which looks almost like a Vantablack. Adding to the visual enjoyment is the gold crown and green Rolex logos. The bezel sparkles and the vintage Air King logo is ascetically pleasing. As others have said, it looks amazing in person. Here are a couple of wrist shots.

Nice. You pick this from the Roppongi boutique? They’ve been more engaging than usual recently when I pop in…

Explains why I saw 30-40 people lined up outside the boutique in Ginza at all hours. Yet somehow I doubt Daytonas and GMT Pepsis are just put out in the case.
