Last time I went into the AD close to me there was a young teen getting his first Rolex. I don’t know what it was or who he was but they must have been important because I was browsing the omegas, tudors and jewelry and didn’t even get a hello.

If it’s your kid then I guess you don’t need your GMT pledge anymore?

I got some huge soccer star’s BLRO apparently.

No idea who it was when they told me. But anyway the guy walked in when I was leaving. They told me to put the watch under my cuff as he was coming in. He had a blue sky-dweller.

Also, had a gorgeous red GT4RS.

Why would Rolex sell a watch to anyone older than 35 these days?

There's no use of those old farts .. Younger buyers will further advertise them on social media and they will receive the additional powerful free marketing as other kids watching will want a Rolex ..

The 50 year old will either put it into the safe deposit or wear it to some boring dinner
