Aquadive 200
I have been given an Aquadive that belonged to my late uncle and am wondering if anyone has information on it. I have tried to do some research through Google as well as asking various local watch shops but have not been able to come across a lot of examples. I am wondering if anyone has any background on the watch or can provide information such as what the original band looked like.
I came across this while helping my mother clean out his house after he passed away. We were going through and trying to find his guns and I came across a drawer that contained 5-6 watches. These watches were mostly Casio and Timex watches but I found an all black Swiss Army watch that I liked. I then saw this one in a generic watch box and noticed it was a Swiss watch. I attempted to start it up by swirling it but assumed it was a quartz watch like all his others. Much to my surprise, it started up immediately and I knew I found a little treasure. Who knows how long it was sitting in his drawer and it still keeps great time! The little information I have found is that it was manufactured by Jenny and is most likely a mid 70's watch. My uncle replaced all of his watches with velcro straps so I have no idea what the original band was. I am hoping my mother stumbles across it at some point as I'd like to have it, even through I'm very happy with my black w/ red stitching leather band I purchased for it. If anyone has any information on this watch or any pictures to share I would be very grateful. I apologize for the quality of the picture below, it was taken with a 3G S in a somewhat poorly lit room. |
