Icon20 Tudor oyster small rose waffle dial ref - 7934

I picked up a beautiful 1958 Tudor oyster yesterday at a ridiculously low price
What drew me to the price is the waffle dial and it’s lovely ages Ivory patina.

It does seem like a rare price in this configuration, the small rose waffle dials often have a more triangular indexes whereas this one are more square with a sharp point as you can see in the pictures.
Through research iv only been able to find a picture of one on the internet that was in Japan. If anyone can shed more light, please do!

Better pictures are needed.

Value is based on current trends and with this piece being only 34mm, even though still technically a mans watch; the small size is whats keeping this beautiful watch from gaining value.

Edit: did you mean to write piece and not price?

Eurgh, yes sorry I did mean piece, my tiny iPhone keyboard and autocorrect have done me dirty on that.

Iv tried to add better pictures but the forum wants far lower sizing than iv taken, at 1250x1250 so I have to resize the pictures which destroys the quality

34's are my focus. It's not a boy's watch. A 31mm 6430 Speedking is!

I also have a 1964 7934 and I love it! They are an excellent Rolex like manual wind. They sit much lower on the wrist which gives them 36mm appearance. I find that to be the same on my 1966 7964 This above is beautiful and very deserving to have an original 7205 rivet bracelet.

The dial on this is original! Very nice survivor.

Very nice. These lovely old 34 mm Tudors tend to sell in the 2 - 3k USD range depending on bracelet.

I don't know how you can possibly determine that the OP's dial was original based on that tiny blurry photo. Maybe it was, maybe not. I am seeing some pretty strange issues in the minute track, or they could be compression artifacts. I've learned to withhold judgement until good photos are provided. Not that it matters, since the OP is long gone.

I got this one a while back. The crystal has a small ding, but it’s domed. I think it’s original, so let it be.

34 - 36 mm is my preferred size.
