Seems cheap. Aren’t they running out of land in Switzerland?

Geneva Canton is running out of land and the Lake Geneva region is extremely urbanised already but Canton Fribourg (where Bulle is located) is a rather vast agricultural canton with land available

Yes and was the reason I shared my “artist’s conception” of the current site versus what it might look like some years from now as it reaches completion.

That is funny.

And oddly sad as the first picture is awe inspiringly beautiful.

I'm going to take the contrarian view here. The agricultural land of Switzerland is so beautiful - I hate to see more of it sold for buildings - even if it means more Rolex availability.

Maybe they could build the new factory underground

Hmm - Jaded feelings on this. My impression is that CPO was to drive up pricing, slightly. This I suppose will counteract that?

Any case, how much more production are we looking at here?

Where will all the trained watchmakers come from? Will big city folks want to move to the country?

They're all waitlisted. Rolex will have to go to the gray market.

Knowing Rolex, the new facility will be site appropriate and architecturally beautiful.

Whats the waitlist like for land over there?

How many other parcels did they have to buy to be allowed to buy this one?

You think the local council will make them send a picture of the land with todays newspaper next to it if they ever want to buy more land?

:)

Rolex probably promised the land owner first in line on the waitlist for a Daytona to sell the land.

People truly will do anything for a Rolex. :)

I'm sure the new building will enhance and be a perfect fit for the rural nature of the area.
