Two tone dive watch sets record

One of the coolest dive watches ever made back in 1953 apparently was a two tone model

This is actually an old article, but thanks for posting! This is exactly the reason why I got my DSC, which is a descendent of this amazing line of watches!

And there is still many who say two tone watches can’t be tool watches.

A great piece of Rolex' history.

By the way, the record set by the two-tone Deep Sea Special No. 3 is unbeaten to this day: 10,916 m / 35,815 ft (Jan 1960, Piccard and Walsh, inside the Trieste).

The stainless steel Sea-Dweller Deep Sea Challenge reached 10,908 m / 35,787 ft (March 2012, James Cameron, inside the Challenger Deep).
