Now--Not knowing the service history of the watch I usually figure the cost of a service into the mix. At a 99 vintage your watch may need a service. Certainly the gaskets may need replacing as these are essential to correct water proofing.
What do you get---- Vertially a brand new watch that has had it's factory finish restored, polished, regulated, pressure proofed, and validated.
Additionally you have a one year international warranty and a history with Rolex.

Down side---Cost! The whole nine yards will run circa $450 - $500 and will take approx 3 to 4 weeks.

Option 2
WEMPE I take it is an AD? (I'm not familiar with them) I'm sure they will charge you though I don't know how much. Should they see something that needs worked on or replaced I doubt you'll get away for much less than RSC and still not have the protection of the Rolex paperwork.
I'll try that option in NY, but later on, I have to Recoup, from the purchase first...
Thank you.
I'll post my results leter on.
