Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this or not but my wifes been given an old rolex from her old man because it was her grandmothers and her dad told us to sell it, we have no idea of the watch scene or if it's even possible with just the watch itself, so I was hoping to pick the collective brain of this community if I can.

Firstly I would like to know the rough value of the watch if that's possible from the information given.

It's a ladies watch with what seems to be genuine leather straps
Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 18k gold electro plated
it's a little beat up missing one possibly two of the diamonds.

Number on the back is 17632-882

Secondly, I would like to know if its possible to sell a watch without a case or any other credentials to go along with it, or if there was a process to evaluate or verify the watch etc that I may use.

Yeah, sorry to tell you, but if that pic in Devil Dog's post is your watch (I'm reluctant to open zip files), then that is not at all a Rolex.

No idea what the movement may be, but Rolex has never made anything like that.

Thanks a lot for all the replies and I apologize for making the photos into zip files, I was trying to upload them for a while last night and the size was just too big so I noticed there was no max file size for zip so I said screw it haha, it didn't even cross my mind that people may be reluctant to open zips but i'm glad enough did to tell me it is worthless.
