The 16600 Sea Dweller and what "People Say"...

I've heard people say that this watch is not a good daily wearer because it's too "Top Heavy"...

I've heard people say that this watch is not a good daily wearer because it's too "Thick"...

I've heard people say that this watch is not a good daily wearer because it's too "Floppy" on the wrist...

And yet this was my daily wearer for decades...

Good thing I don't listen to what "People say"...

I've never heard any of those about a 5 digit SD. One of the greatest watches...I miss mine sometimes.

Don’t wear as often as my lighter thinner watches but find it perfectly comfortable.

I love mine. I would not pay over retail for a modern sub when this SD is such a killer!

I don't find any of those issues with my 16600. In fact I find it very comfortable to wear and would highly recommend it as a potential daily.

What a cool watch. They all sound like idiots to me.

Would not trust what others say myself been wearing my trusty 16600 SD for over 20 years. And was well used and sometimes abused with well over 600 hours underwater and my favourite most comfortable Rolex watch ever..

Absolutely love this reference, probably of all the watches I have ever owned, this is the one I regret letting go. Given what is happening at the moment, now is the time to try and source a minty fresh one I think.
