Not sure about that - there are a few watches they do not produce many of and this may be one. But at the end of the day it’s just a watch and you can get via other means if not in the case.

Keep the wife happy - everything gets better from there on.

I picked one up yesterday after a months wait, was expecting longer but was pleasantly surprised to get it this year. Very happy with the watch, something a bit different with the titanium and rubber strap to my usual preferences.

it's a tudor. if you wait 6 months it will be cheaper. never buy a tudor at retail. NEVER.

I was offered a black dialed one a couple months ago and I did not even express an interest.

I've been thinking the same thing about the Black Bay Chrono. Here we are almost 2 years later now and its still as elusive as it ever was. I can't believe I got a rootbeer GMT before the white dial Tudor.

Certainly am, love WP, has a more 'down to earth' feel than most CO resorts.

Had a place up there for almost a decade and bought a house in Roam late last year - it'll be superb when the new cable car is in place... and when we finally have a few more neighbors!

I think it looks better on the rubber strap.

I really like this option as well. As I am, interested in this as more of an active “sports” watch, that might be the best option. Plus, I have beat the crap out of the clasp on my Sub bracelet and this more expendable option might be just what I need.

The Pel39 does feel much different than a sub on the wrist, if only because it’s so much lighter. That said, I understand passing when you’ve just done holiday shopping and then just bought a $4000 piece of art.

The Tudor pricing has inched up a decent amount, which I think is a bit of shame. As the pandemic watch craze dies down, they have to ask themselves if they can move ~$5000 Tudors (Pel39 costs 4800 in NYC with sales tax). It’s still good value relative to Rolex IMO, but a lot of members here act like buying a Tudor is similar to buying a street taco.
