I just stick them all in one of those big plastic storage containers, like a big Tupperware and then stick them in a closet.

I store my boxes in storage cases on the top shelf of my closet. Papers, warranty cards, bracelet links, etc. go in the safe

On a shelf in the safe. Luckily the 'collection' is down to two and doesn't take up much room.

Papers in individual folders in secure file. Wooden and other high quality boxes in storage, cheesy boxes (Rolex…) in the dumpster.

How do you store box and papers?

FWIW I keep mine in a faraday time capsule buried underneath the goal post on the home team side at my high school, along with some memorabilia from that time. You know, things like Beatles albums, some bell bottoms, and a few high potency Quaaludes from Germany.

I can’t wait to dig it up one day and reminisce while thumbing through the pristine pages of the user manuals when I’m 80.

Before the boxes became idiotic you could fit two or three in a shoe box with some room left over for other boxes (like Nomos wooden cases)

Now I'd peddle the box on fleabay and put the papers in a fireproof bag.

Back of the wardrobe. Do I get a prize if my watch boxes are also still in the retailers’s bags? They are. Even the one I bought grey came from the grey dealer in its original Watches of Switzerland bag…

Have a dedicated place called “the basement”. Optimal with no natural light to preserve the colour of the sleeve and box

Outside of the watch I'm wearing at the time, the other watches are in a Pelican Case in the safe, along with the boxes.

It will be worth it!

Just like I’m sure when I pass down my watches to my kids they’ll treasure them, until they pass them down to their kids, and not hock them for a down payment on a house - because the watches are far more important.

Watches in commercial safe fully alarmed by monitoring company.
Papers with other essential documents is seperate fire proof safe away from main safe
Boxes in cupboard with third unhidden cheap domestic safe with a number of inauthentic rolexes, some cash and paste jewellery as a decoy to opportunistic burglars
