Milgauss GV

I know its no big deal to the US contingent, but today I saw a GV in the window of David Robinson St Anns Square Manchester - first time I ever saw that model in the window. £4,100 list price. It was flanked by white & black face standard Milgauss(es) !

Happy for a Forum member to pick it up ! I think they might even do 12 months interest free credit in there.

Other Manchester based news - Prestons of Bolton (magnificent AD in a really interesting old building) was raided yesterday and numerous Rolex were stolen. I hope Chris who works there in the Rolex room is OK.....

It just goes to show you can't believe what any AD tells you. I went all round the Manchester stores including David Robinson before I decided to go for the GV I'd been offered from another dealer in the Northwest without being on a list . They all told me they'd lists of at least two years....this was only about three months ago.

Been in there many times - I have bought watches from their branches in Liverpool and Southport and always received excellent service. The GV is not for me but I am sure someone will snap it up soon.

My experience with UK AD's is that they all like to P-about!

- Ooh a Daytona Sir, are you serious.
- A GV, surely Sir knows we have 2-years of list.

What a load of rubbish. Some are waking up, but the process is slow.
