Too repetitive to be honest. Too redundant. But that’s just me thinking like that.

I would get bored of that collection quick. Lacks variety and taste and purely chases hype.

I wouldn’t call that an insane collection. And as others have said, it lacks variety.

Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky, but these types of collections don't impress me like they used to in my younger years. I love the smaller more thought out collections built over many years. Kind of like this one from Dr. David Williams:

That is quite a collection. Your friend has excellent taste (time and cars)....Awesome! Some embarrassing comments. No need to be rude, so much goes into being able to assemble a collection and I think its so funny commenting about hype pieces. I will take one of each...

Nice collection. A bit heavy in Daytona but you can't go wrong if that is the watch you go heavy into....

I am not in the slightest jealous. That collection is essentially the same watch in 10 different colors. I've been there - multiple 6 digit stainless steel Rolex sport watches (GMT, Daytona, Submariners) when I first started collecting. But since then I found that once I had 1 or 2 of my favorites, I had them all. They're the same in every way except for the complication. Shape, size, case, ceramic bezel, bracelet, etc. I have since consolidated most of them into other brands and a couple vintage pieces and I do not miss the ones that I traded whatsoever. I now feel that every watch in my collection has a purpose and I can choose exactly which watch I want to wear for whatever occasion. Don't get me wrong, everyone can collect whatever they want, however they want. If you want every brand new sports Rolex and want to call that your collection - great! My opinion is that this collection is boring plain and simple. It looks like he pointed at every watch sports watch in the current catalogue. It's great to be entitled to have your own opinion, right?

And yes, I would love to have more Rolex in my collection! Who wouldn't? But not a dozen of the same one.

If you take the time make this response …. No doubt you’re jealous but its ok no problem at all ….. in your words “They're the same in every way except for the complication. Shape, size, case, ceramic bezel, bracelet, etc” for me you contradicted yourself

I’m not envious at all! I have 7 Rolexes myself, but many other brands as well.
I’m not saying that collection isn’t nice, but it’s definitely not insane.
