Milgauss-Chromalight/Supernova question
It is my understanding that earlier Milgauss' had both green & blue lume. Does anybody know the rough date when Rolex switched over to sole Chromolight on the Milgauss model?

I think the GV lume changed from blue/green to blue around 2014.

Of course, contrasting lume is only on the black model.
Here's the thing, I can assure you that the last GV run (2022) has contrasting lume, looking VERY pronounced under UV light (which a lot of people use when taking lume shots), and NOT very pronounced once merely glowing. |

I watched some YouTube videos from watchbox and they show the different lume versions.
The last GV black has another difference where the 3-6-9 are less intense Chromolight blue instead of contrasting Superluminova green. |

I don't think Rolex used Superluminova (Green) anymore. Bob's watches says on their site the early GV Milgauss used both Superluminova & Chromalight. 2014 makes the most sense as to when Rolex stopped this process

SuperLuminova comes in several different colors, not just green.
Chromalight is Superluminova, but Rolex likes to call everything by their own names.

Parmigiani Fleurier, for example, do a black superluminova that glows green but very weakly. |

Here is my 2022 Milgauss in ultraviolet light (blacklight), as best as I can take the photo with my cell phone. Differences between two lumes are greater in real life (beautiful and striking, really). But when glowing on its own in the dark, the differences are vastly more difficult to see, and most people would just see a fairly even greenish-blue across all of the lume.

Don’t forget that the green crystal “filters” lume
