My friend who owns 3 ADs said that this is the last year for the Pepsi. He said that is the rumblings from Geneva.

First time I wished I could trade a watch like stocks. Starting to believe the discontinuation rumors. Pepsi at about 20-22k, right now. Immediately after discontinuation is announced (next April?) it'll easily pop to 30k.

I just know if I acquire one I won't be able to just keep it stored in new condition, too weak willed. I'd be wearing the hell out of it after one week.

Got it from my AD several months back and haven’t taken it off the wrist since then. Daytona and Sub have taken a back seat. It’s that freaking good. On jubilee nothing beats it.

There are coming too little new Pepsis on the market. Chrono24 lists for 2023 50% of BLRO compared to BLNR. For 2022 the ratio is approx even.

I mentioned this before in another thread and it's absolutely correct, go look at the VTNRs is even worse. The BLRO is the only model of the current SS watches that has less 2023 for sale on chrono24 then 2022s.

Chrono24 is worthless for pricing but good to get a brawd gauge of how many models are for sale across the board.

Got my Pepsi 07/23 and wearing it daily.
Would be happy if it gets discontinued - but don’t think that this will happen.

Do people really think they’ll discontinue one of their best models? Rolex is not Patek. Lifecycles at Rolex are at least 8-10 years.

If they didn’t discontinue Panda or Blue SkyD yet, they won’t discontinue Pepsi. I believe we’ll see a huge dump of deliveries in fall and winter for the Pepsi.

Confirmed at my AD in Cali.

Rolex’s manufacturer for the Pepsi bezel is having issues. Rolex bringing production in house.

These sales folk, supposed owners of shops, those "in the know",

I suspect none of them would put up any money on their claims of Rolex dropping the model in the coming year.

It would be disappointing if they did, I find them to be intriguing with the dark blue and dark red, and I'm hoping they are doing production runs right now, open my chances of obtaining one.

I'm enjoying the exclusivity of the reference, so I'm hoping the exact opposite.

That’s a really negative/selfish way of thinking about it. Would you feel the same way if it was a model you badly desired but was on the chopping block for cancellation soon?

The reason I got a Pepsi on the grey market was because that exact thing happened to me with the 116610LV. Not a soul had any sympathy for me..

Ahh I suppose we’re both in the same boat. I’m trending towards pulling trigger on Grey market BLRO as well.

Honestly this all sounds like more gray dealer hype to me.

Considering the info is coming from Rolex ADs, what reason do they have to help the greys?

It's quite obvious by now that the BLRO mostly goes back door to grey dealers. They are trying to keep their source of extra profit alive.

Likewise. Daytona, Sub and Pepsi all from the AD. There are some good ADs still out there.

Don’t kid yourself. ADs have certainly benefited from the Rolex hype. How about using the hype to demonstrate even more exclusivity of the Pepsi thereby encouraging bundling, buying expensive watches and jewelry you don’t want, to move you up “ the list.” That’s what they’ve been doing for the past three years or more. .

I got mine grey & would do it again being there is a slim to no chance obtaining one at a AD.

Me too. When they got to $17-18k, I traded a few lower value watches and buy the bullet. I didn’t love the premium but wanted the watch and never was going to “get the call.” It’s a joy to wear.

It’s the only watch I’ve ever bought above retail, and I remain very happy with mine.
