Possible Corrosion 26331st
Hey guys hope all is well.
Was looking at my royal oak panda (circa 2019). Noticed what i believe to be corrosion, on the case back. Has anyone noticed anything similar? Could it possibly be accumulated dirt or something else? Kind regards! |

Looks like acclimated sweat and dirt between the O’s. Dawn dish soap is your friend.

Kind of hard to tell based on the limited resolution of the picture but I'll second the notion of making sure crown and pushers are screwed tightly and then warm water, soap and a toothbrush.

Mine collects dead skin there too. Often use a soft toothbrush on it with some soap.

Looks like dirt/dead skin. Try rubbing with a soft, wet, cloth

There was another thread that I think someone mentioned if you don't wash it enough, the grooves accumulate dirt/sweat and makes your wrist smell ;)

Should be obvious to clean a watch from time to time ... you would not wear a shirt for 4 years without washing it, would you? ;-)

Went into AP Singapore for resizing and found a screw rusted. Unable to remove it and had to send in for months. But the out come was good and it took longer than expected because the movement needed servicing. Overall still a great experience and all is well. BTW the tech Justin was extremely nice and helpful. Really taking the time to perfectly size my bracelet. Appreciate all his help. Five stars to the support team.

On the topic of the clasp… is it normal to have a gap between the closure (where it says “AP”) and the link above? I see a gap of a couple mm’s… also a little bit of play if I press the top part of the clap |
