I‘d be very suspicious of authenticating with anything but pictures of the movement and especially the balance wheel! That way you can at least ensure the movement is real and the rest I‘d of the watch check with a magnifying glass.
Nowadays you can just franken a fake watch with genuine dial, hands and even fate disc, so externally it’s extremely difficult, if not impossible to tell. I don’t know many AD‘s that would be down with you coming in to authenticate a watch.. buy the seller. What I also notice on the picture is the misaligned dial to the rehaute Rolex letters with the dial. While not uncommon on original watches that already would be a dealbreaker if I had any prior doubt. Especially fakes tend to have that issue. |

UP DATE!!
Met at an authorize dealer and the watch is legit! They would not open up watch as against their policies but, were able to confirm with paper work and serial numbers and had an expert on site that said no doubt was this a real authentic rolex hulk and was the mark III. Yeah!

Very nice, congrats! I hope their expert gets to see A LOT of these because as someone mentioned above, super clones are VERY good and Frankenstein watches are even steps BEYOND that. It’s not entirely impossible to have a franken/super clone with the SN of a genuine piece. I really do hope it works out for ya! Best of luck! |
