In the past 24 months, I have bought Rolex, AP, VC, Hermes, Omega, Montblanc, Cartier, MB&F, and Zenith watches via eBay and have not had a negative experience.
As long as you purchase watches with Authenticity Guarantee, the watch must be shipped to Stoll & Co for third-party authentication. While this is not fool proof, it's a better authentication than anywhere else I'm aware of. In addition, when buying through eBay, you are using your credit card (one layer of protection), in some cases paying through PayPal (another layer of protection), and you have the authenticity guarantee. You're not wiring money to someone whose account may have been compromised, etc. And, the seller doesn't get a dime until after the watch has been authenticated. I've stopped buying watches from almost anywhere else becaues of the excellent buyer protection in place on eBay. |

Bought almost all my vintage watches on eBay. Great place as there are many safeguards. I bought only from US sellers. Buy the platform and guarantee, not the seller.
