I've created 2 monsters.
The Panerai Passion has now taken over my family or
First, I started with mine. Then when i acquired my second, my wife started wearing my first one occassionally. At this time, I asked my AD to keep me in mind, if the 219 ( left hander) arrived. Eventually, she got the 40 mm Pannie. So a week or so ago, the 219 44mm arrived. Since the poor 40mm, was not being worn, my daughter started wearing this one Now, they are both looking ahead for "different" Pannies they could share This is not that bad, but, as you know, women like to match things up. So now I am changing the strap for my daughter on a regular basis . She's not quite ready to do here own strap changes yet. My wife saw the email confirming my order of the Crazy Horse strap, next thing I know, she's surfing Greg's strap pages looking for a strap for her Ahhh, the insanity.

Will make the pickup tommorrow morning John, the 000 is gone and a 49 will be on Andies wrist before lunch. I am meeting up with Ian Thomas (TRF's newest member ad long time WIS/Paneristi by the way) for coffee and the transaction. Andie is very excited, to say the least.

That's awesome Daren.
I really would have liked to pick up your 000, but it just wasn't in the cards at this time. The 49 is such a versatile watch. I can just imagine the straps you'll have for her.

It comes on the OEM pink croc as well as with 3 other short DON straps. We have most of the colors covered, though I would like to find her a real nice black one for dressy situations, then we are good to go. And the quest is on for me for the next one. I have it narrowed down to two pieces, the new IWC Pilots Chrono and that stinkin 98 that is still haunting me.

Oh thats a great shot... I LOVE the 49... but alas, finances would see me having to sell my beloved GMT to afford one anytime soon... and well.... I dont want a bad reputation like JJs by selling off Rolexs after owning them for 5 secs

Selling a Rolex to get a Panerai... now that makes perfect sense to me. Besides, the shorter time you have the Rolex, the higher ROI you'll get. Why do you think JJ flips his so frequently? So he doesn't have to dig THAT deep when he replaces it.

Amanda, my wife just got her first Pannie tonight, and I don't think she will be wearing anything else for a long time.
