An unexpected walk-in purchase (DJ41)

I decided to visit an AD over the weekend that is 30 miles away from where I live and to try my luck on either a OP41 or EXP I 40 and/or EXP II.
Was greeted by a friendly SA and was told OP41 and EXP are among the hardest pieces to obtain. I completely understood and was not surprised in hearing this (especially for a customer like me without any spending history in this store).
Was then informed that they had a DJ41 black dial in the safe. Though I wasn't really looking to get a DJ41 due to its PCL, however, I gave it a try and was surprised how the DJ41 snug-fitted my 6.5" wrist so well. Really loved how the lugs curve and sit. The black dial is also very classic and easy to read/tell time.
After only a few minutes, I decided to pull the trigger and brought home the DJ41 black dial. I couldn't help but smiling when looking at the DJ41 on my wrist while driving home.
What an unexpected walk-in purchase at an AD.
