So cool to have your grandfather’s and even your father’s watches if possible. My father and grandfather were both soldiers and businessmen after that but not real fancy and wouldn’t have known what a Rolex or other high end watches were. My father wore a Tissot bought in the Middle East when he came to visit me in 1971. My Grandfather wore a Gruen which I guess dates from the 40s possibly. Both watches transcend financial value for me as I’m sure yours does OP.

I had this Tissot cleaned up a little when my father passed away in 2012.



My Grandmother gave me my Grandfathers watch after he passed away in 1979.
