Reference point- price of a jubilee bracelet
Anybody on here have any experience paying for a jubilee bracelet for a GMT priced on the grey market? Haven’t a clue what market price is and don’t want to get hosed. Would love the jubilee for my Pepsi on Oyster but also don’t want to overpay. Thanks in advance.

Hi Geoff I’ve seen/heard anywhere from $2,300 to $3,400 depending on condition. Some have even had luck carrying the piece into a RSC and buying one directly. Mixed results on this depending on which RSC and which bracelet the watch came on originally, but could be worth a shot if you’re close to one. Good luck! If you’re going grey anyways, may be best to just buy one that already has your bracelet of preference; unless you’re saying you got your piece from an AD but on the opposite bracelet of your preference?

My Pepsi came on oyster too. I bought jubilee from RSC in NYC two years ago for $2100. I don’t know if you can do that now but it’s worth a try.

It’s unfortunately no longer possible to buy a jubilee from the RSC or an AD if looking for the other bracelet.

I bought a jubilee for my Pepsi this past spring from my AD. $2500 plus tax. This is in Canada however but can still provide you some reference.

Hello,
I bought a Jubilee to my Paris AD without any problem. It was for a vintage 1675, they just checked the serial number of the watch before the order. The bracelet part number is 62510H with 550 end link. It cost 1,150EUR |

i was told that if your watch comes with a Jubilee you can buy an oyster, but not the other way around.

I paid $2,500 + tax in Canada as well. It appears Rolex USA and Rolex Canada have stopped selling the jubilee for GMTs that originally came on Oyster a couple of months ago. They did this before so hoping they re-open it at some point.

I assume all the current GMTs are the same size wise. I have a sprite on an Oyster and just bought a Pepsi on jubilee so I suppose I could get a tool and flip flop the bracelet back and forth correct?

You will need a spring bar tweezer/tool to compress the spring bars to remove and install the bracelets. A lot of people recommend the Bergeon 7825: https://www.esslinger.com/bergeon-78...-bar-tweezers/ I find the below easier to use but it is a bit more expensive: https://www.esslinger.com/premium-sp...-removal-tool/ Remember tape the lugs to minimize/avoid scratches, if the spring bar slips when being removed or installed. |

Thanks @stylinleems for the tip. I ordered that tool so I can switch back and forth.
