Maybe OP should clarify the time frame they are interested in. |

Daytona black dial, 10 days. (but I was fortunate in my timing and asking the right person) ...little to do with the market conditions

Been asking a SA for a Sub or GMT for two years. I walked in last week and chatted with a new SA. To my surprise this new-to-me SA walked out with a new 126610 for me.
So to answer this thread, technically no wait (same day), but for full transparency I’ve been asking the wrong SA for 2 years. No jewelry, no bundle, just some good conversation and some good laughs. |

One week in December 2021 for a Sub. They then texted me the new day and offered me an OP. I declined on the OP. Want to go in and try on the Explorer and Explorer II in white.

Their turn to allocate a watch must have been up and you were in the right spot at the right time. I've asked for a Sub for my milestone birthday in October. I'm interested to see how this plays out. |

I first asked for a SS Daytona in October 2019 … 58 days later I got the call on December 24, 2019. Interestingly, I ended up giving the black Daytona to my nephew about two months later (February 2020) for his wedding. I deeply regretted giving it away and then asked my AD if they could put me on the list for another. 364 days after I received my first black Daytona, I received my second on December 23, 2020. Yes, I am deeply thankful to my AD. And I will never give this one away! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just got a call for one of the newly-released models. More about that in a few days with pics.
HINT: It's a gift for dad, who is a lefty.

When I got my explorer in August 2018, I hadn't seen any other explorers in cases here in Tokyo. Only YM IIs and AKs. Side note, last time I saw a SS(well kind of SS) was a YM in New Delhi in Nov. 2019. The SA tried really hard to sell it to me. Wasn't looking to buy at the time and YMs were never at the top of my to-get list. If anyone sees this post, do also share when the last time you saw an SS Sports watch in the case. Interesting to know from different regions. |

Been waiting on an explorer for 8 months. Tried a different approach, after realising i really like the Panerai Luminor Due.
Told my AD i would prefer an Air King now (realised that maybe 36 is a little on the smaller side) and that i'd love to buy both. 6 days later got the call. Was a great outcome. |

I had no prior relationship with AD in Los Angeles, and I just picked up my new YM 40 SS about 6 weeks after they put me on the list. It was in the exact config that I was looking for. My friend walked in to the same AD the day after I talked to them 6 weeks ago and he was able to pick up a Rolesor Sea Dweller the same day. Maybe we just got lucky or maybe the supply is finally starting to catch up to demand a bit more.
