nice books from AD

I stopped by an AD the other day to take a look around, not expecting anything obviously

I saw they had this magazine as well as a hardcover catalogue book on the counter. the sales associate was nice enough to put both into a rolex bag for me to take

i know they're just books, but i have to say it was nice to walk out of the AD with something! and they look decent enough for a coffee table or something

the magazines are pretty informative

i got my first one last year and got this years version too. pretty good write ups (not just pure advertising) about the history of the featured models

definitely get one if you can. i walked in to an AD, was told that nothing was available for purchase, but they did give me a copy of the magazine with a bag to take home

Now you have a mission to collect issue #1-10, good luck #1 is almost impossible to find.

Agree. I did the exact same thing recently.

Odd if they stopped at 11 issues as it's a strange number, but it's Rolex, so as you say, who knows!

They're a good read, but getting harder for me to get hold since one of my local ADs lost their Rolex account. I had to buy issue 11 from ebay to keep my set complete. Fortunately I found someone who wasn't pricing them like they're a Shakespeare first edition!
