Finishing isn’t there but shock resistance and corrosion proofing is (which is more their effort imo) Sort of feels like you can’t have it all in these movements, even at this price range! But when the day comes that you can have it all, I expect it will be an RM movement that provides, not the other way around To answer the OP, I went through the same consideration and only had enough disposable scratch to form a relationship with one brand. At the time it was RM or FPJ. I chose RM because I am very active and rarely wear formal attire. If I could go back, it might be with FPJ because wearing RM watches in public is a whole ordeal when it comes to safety. Kind of a hassle when you consider it’s just a watch. I don’t really regret my decision though, because the ownership experience and journey has still been a rewarding experience. Every time I do wear my RM I feel like I’m wearing something truly special and fun - it puts a smile on my face without fail. My colleague ended up choosing FPJ at my suggestion and every time I see him I end up stealing his watch for a few minutes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
