Braclet advice please
I have two subs; a Z serial 16610 from the year 2008 and a 16800 from 1983. I love them both and plan to wear the 16800 and give the 16610 to my son. I prefer the matte dial on the 16800 with the subtle patina on the hour markers and hands.
The bracelet on the 16610 fits perfect with 11 links. The 16800 is either too tight with 10 links and the fine adjustment all the way out, or it's too loose 11 links and the fine adjustment all the way in. I wondered why they didn't fit the same, then I noticed that the last link of the 16800 is larger than the last link of the 16610. My question is, how do I remedy this? Can you have the last link switched out? Should I just buy a new bracelet? Any advice would be appreciated. |

I'd find a half link on ebay and try that. I have half links on all my 93250 bracelets

The later clasp will be like that. I would ask you first how is the clasp centered on the 16800? For example for me I had to have a permanent link removed on the 6 o'clock side. If the location of the clasp is fine you could do a half link. A half link was not sold on either model so an AD won't sell you one. You can try online but if you pay the market price for genuine be sure it is.
Another option... a 93250 clasp. |
