Anyone ever book a flight through Travelocity ??
Anyone ?
I've booked a flight for Arizona about 3 months ago with Travelocity. Since that time, they have E-mailed me telling me my flights have been changed at least 5-8 times !! Well, today I get an E-mail saying "Please call us immediately regarding your flight reservations. There is a significant change from your original itinerary, your immediate action is required." So, I call the support number, and spend about 30 minutes on the phone with someone who . . (how can I put this nicely) . . must *not* live in the US, to get this all straightened out. He's telling me I have to book a different flight because one got canceled, etc. etc. So, on top of hardly understating what he was saying, now my flights are WAY different then what they were originally book for. (I'm stopping TWO times on my way to Arizona from CT instead of once, the times are different, etc.). So, sorry for the rant, but has anyone else ever gone through something like this before with an online travel agent ?? I normally book (Direct Fights) through my personal travel agent, but figured I could so this one on my own, but I guess matters are not that simple anymore |

I've had a terrible time with Travelocity. Make sure you complain enough to have your money partially refunded or receive some type of comp.

I booked flights and hotels through travelocity a few times and had no problems. I booked my last trip (went to Cancun in early July) with a travel agent that we had used a bunch of times in the past. That is the route I will go for now on. If there is any problems, the travel agent will deal with them.

I have, definitely not my favorite travel vendor...... Expedia is my favorite to use for both business and pleasure travel.
For business they have a dedicated website egencia.com, it allows you to easily coordinate travel arrangements with your co-workers. -Frankie |
