9/10 years that watch is under MSRP. Not that long ago those were discounted at some AD's.

That all being said, if you love it, who cares. Most every watch I buy loses money.

It’s also generally safe to say that ANY Rolex is better than MOST watches from [name your brand here] from a value retention standpoint. With the exception of Patek and AP.

I lost 50% of value on both a Tudor and a Grand Seiko I’ve bought.
