I am camp 36mm Explorer and own one. Also have a 14060m from 2012. 224270 vs 124060 the Sub is the winner for me. Now if it was a 124270… 124270 is nicer but sub 14060m is oit of this world good!

You can't go wrong with both, but Submariner for sure!

Imho Explorer would have been ideal at 38mm while maintaining proper proportions and lugs.
While each size has been fine , they all seem to miss the mark by just a little. As a result they each become very particular to the wearers wrist size.

The Submariner, for sure. I´d miss the bezel on the explorer...

Correct answer IMO
+2! This is a great answer. It's a good "middle ground" between the two.

Both great choices. I love how under the radar and less common the Explorer is.
But, for me, I can no longer live without glidelock. I just can’t. My wrist changes throughout the day. Glidelock is the difference for me … so Sub. I own a 114060. |

From these two Sub. But if compared to 36mm Explorer, that would be a tough choice for me )))
