Inflation will go up. Inflation will go down. But prices always go up...

Let's remember the "good old days", 2016 and earlier. AD display cases were completely full and one could get a 10% discount on SS models, even more on TT and PM datejusts (15%.) But why bother actually buying from an AD? One could call up DavidSW and get the exact same watch for another 5% less and not pay tax - shipped to your door by 10AM the next day. Please don't make fun of poor mental health. My stepson has attempted suicide twice. It's actually frightening trying to convince a loved-one that their life is worth living.

So sorry for your troubles, but the post you quoted was not making fun of anyone. I sincerely hope your stepson is getting the care he needs.
God bless your family.

With apologies, yet want to ensure we are honest about the mathematics.

Inflation does not go 'down', it decreased from 10% to 7%. Still pretty high if you ask me.

So yes, prices still have to increase to keep up with currency devaluation / inflation. Am sure everyone here sees when they go food shopping, or their electricity bill, rent, etc that costs continue to increase.

You are correct NY Ranger, 0% increase/decrease is stable pricing. You are 100% correct that we have not had stable pricing for many decades. Prices always go up.

Below is an example of how things have changed. Who 'wins' in the below scenario? This is the mathematic fact.

I've gone through my own challenges, not making fun of anyone. It's totally hypothetical.

Exactly. Thanks Kat

To suggest your comment is anything more than a lighthearted excuse to stay home and receive a FedEx package is only a sign of someone's sensitivity.

He has a right to be offended and we have a right to not worry about it.
