Headed To Germany, Is It safe To Wear.........

.......a German watch? Ja, natürlich ist es das.

Normally I would have worn my BB GMT thru the four country European tour my wife & I just returned from. But since most of our time would be spent in Germany it seemed more appropriate to wear my Sinn 757 UTC. Loaded w/ useful features, it performed brilliantly helping navigate thru all the cars, buses, trains, ships, and multiple flights, not to mention the ever changing weather.

Beautiful watch, looks like a great trip! Did it rain every day?

Nice pictures and a cool watch. I have always wanted a Sinn watch but with no AD's around I have not been able to decide which one. Thanks for sharing.

It rained either in the morning or late afternoon, except for 2 entire days of rain. That left plenty of time to explore while it was dry with some occasional sun. Not bad out of 17 days total from Budapest to The Netherlands.

Lovely watch! But why would it not be safe to wear? No offense but I doubt anyone out there is thinking to go out and rob some Sinn’s

I completely agree. The point of the title was a bit of a laugh at all the "is it safe" threads. Seems I need to hone my humor skills.

Looks like you went to some pretty serious areas my man. Did you make it out alive? Please give us a safety report.

It was a Viking River Cruise and whether on the boat or on an excursion the food [and beer] were amazing. The unofficial Viking mantra is they do all the work, the only thing you have to do is chew the food.

A couple of standouts though, the schnitzel in Cologne and the seared halibut at The Hotel Des Indes at The Hague were unreal.

Love Sinn… can’t go wrong with one!

I miss Germany — was fortunate to live there for a few years (right next to a Sinn AD, that’s how I learned of the brand). Hope you had a great trip!

Thanks, all!! Still taking in everything we experienced in Europe. Hard to pack more into 17 days and we managed to walk over 70 miles while there.
