New Joiner- Looking for Quick Pointers!
Hey,
Hope you're all well. As you all can tell I'm new to this forum, trying to understand how to navigate my way through this maze so I've just got some quick questions. But first- a bit about me: I live in the UK and I'm starting to think about expanding my collection into some starter Rolex's. I'm looking at purchasing a 2023 steel submariner date (126610LN), I've had a browse online and the lower-end of prices seem to be ~£11k which is £2k above retail. It might seem a little ironic but I'm also not looking to pay 25% above retail as I'm just getting into it. Areas where I would like a little help: - What's the best way to approach an AD here in the UK and what's the likelihood of being sold this particular model? - Would it be better to wait in case prices fall or is this improbable? - When do Rolex release new pieces, what does this typically mean for the existing market and where is news relevant to this readily available? I think that's all for my questions currently as I'm not looking to be too annoying as soon as joining this forum! All responses are appreciated and if my questions require more of a discussion feel free to PM me or even send me to the relevant area within this forum. Thank You. |

Welcome to the forum Roger.
Hopefully someone from the UK will chime in. You might want to start a new thread to get responses |

Welcome.
Prices always fluctuate, so waiting is just as likely to see a price increase as a decrease. What we do know is that an Authorized Dealer is more likely to sell a watch at MSRP rather than an on line seller. Dealer stock varies from shop-to-shop.
