Watchfinder UK - selling your watch.
Any good or bad experiences with selling a watch to Watchfinder?

I've never completed a sale with them - I have obtained prices from them when selling watches in the past, but they are usually well below other dealers.

I've sold to them before when I've had to, for hard to move watches.
There is no issue with the whole process, though takes way too long to authenticate and pay your money. As mentioned many times, they offer bottom prices below market value and sell on for top prices. So I wouldn't deal with them unless I had to |

The process is good. They pay less since Richemont bought them but what I will say is they have never knocked me down on a price once on any watch I have sent to them. Other greys do that all the time and it’s annoying. I must have sold them about 10 over the years.

I’ve sold to them half a dozen times, all without hitch.
Their offers aren’t that great at the moment though. There are other buyers out there, PM me if you need a pointer. |

I just sold my third watch to WF. It's a painless process with very low risk. Their offers are fair and the haven't ambushed me with a low ball offer once they have it in their possession. You can obviously get more if you sell it yourself but you'll need to assume a higher risk for the higher reward.
There may well be better offers out there. Shopping around online is quite easy. But as with buying the seller, you should also buy the buyer. I've got my go to buyers, WF being one of them. |

RJM25R and Harry-57 - do you mind sharing who you trust as buyers in the UK please? I may be selling soon and would appreciate the advice. PM fine if you don't want to share on here. I would not want to sell to private individuals, just reputable dealers. Thanks :)
