Oysterflex on explorer 40mm
Hi all,
I’m doing some homework prior to potential purchase of the 224270 explorer 40mm. If I move forward I want to put it on an oysterflex. Lug width is 21mm. The yacht master 42 has the same lug width. Can someone share code(part number)? I am aware the size length differs with letters. If I have the correct part number it would definitely help narrow down the search. Also if any members have pictures of their explorers or subs on oysterflex please share. I’m intrigued by the look. IMHO not having the curved end links will help the “bracelet” fall flat and drape around the wrist. I have a rubber b for a Tudor black bay with curved end links and like the looks. But I’m looking for comfort in this case. |

You don't find the Rubber B to be comfortable?

I feel it pushes the watch up, making it wear taller. Might be caused with the fold over clasp and the overlapping at the bottom of the wrist. Oysterflex can pivot down at a steeper angle and hoping it provides a tight yet comfortable fit.

I just put the Rubber B Glidelock Series on my 124060 and find it as comfortable as can be--but I do wear my watches on the slightly tighter side, so I don't have an issue with the head lifting, at all.
