Women wearing Daytonas

I’m looking for a bulkier more masculine watch as I have a Cartier panthere and I’m looking for something to off set that. Any women would mind posting pictures of them wearing their Daytona?

Daytona was known as a female watch for a period earlier in the millennium.

We these bring me back. I worked for Movado as a college student back in 2002-2004 and we sold something similar with the pastel museum dial and matching lizard strap. Pink, blue, green, or yellow just like the Daytonas. They were hot sellers back then. Men and women would buy them but different colors did better with specific genders.

I think Daytonas look great on women and a Panthere and Daytona make a fantastic duo.

My wife "borrowed" my white dial steel Daytona about 10 years ago. I finally gave it to her and replaced it with YG "Newman" Daytona. She looks fantastic while wearing her watch, much like Elle MacPherson, who is well known for wearing several Daytonas.

Daytonas are men's watches - plenty of other offerings for women within the Rolex catalogue, or other watches that look more masculine with other brands. Get a 34 or 31mm AP or some 7118 patek imo

I wore a WG one for a while and it suited me just fine. I wouldn’t care for an AP or PP. To me the small case size is more suitable for the average female wrist as opposed to the average male wrist.

I could not disagree more with this statement. A lot of women do not like the “plenty of offerings for women in the Rolex catalogue”, including me. I might wear a 34 mm watch, but nothing smaller. Watches are just little machines, that tell time, and are worn on the wrist. They are not gender specific. Most of my watches are at least 36 mm. If I liked the Daytona more, I’d wear it proudly. I prefer the Omega Speedmaster, and have owned several. OP, good luck finding the right Daytona, and welcome to the forum.

I can't remember who actually said it, but I was talking to Rob at Topper's once and he said he will never forget what a CEO once told him regarding women's watches.

"A woman's watch is a watch a woman buys."

Not necessarily what she wears. Not what she is gifted. What she buys.

If a woman walks into a Rolex AD and confidently picks out a 226570, then guess what? It's a woman's watch.

The white dial 116520 was practically a woman’s watch for a long time. Same with the all gold (except the white) which continue to be.

I do think the newer ceramic, especially the 12 series are more suited to men though.

A Daytona, in any metal, is a great choice of watch for anyone. One size fits all, so to speak.

My wife really enjoys her Daytona. She’s quite petite as well.

Ja, we were lucky and got Centre Court Round 4 tix through the ballot with great seats. Third row, middle, near the umpire stand. Saw three of the eventual finalists Alcaraz, Djokovic, and Jabeur win their matches.

Me too! I was lucky enough to go to the US Open back in 1989 when I lived in NYC, but would love to attend Wimbledon.
