Great news, congrats !!!! That also confirms it’s not stolen (as they would have not gave it back to you if was reported stolen). Can you please share how much you ended up paying?

Sent before I finished typing.

I asked for a polishing quote and to take a look at the min hand cause it seems off. RSC took a pic my service card and took the watch in the back . 20 min later he confirmed the min hand was not aligned and needs to be sent in.

Maybe a one off but found that odd the min hand had issues.

This estimate is intended to inform the Client on the price of a service. It does not attest to or guarantee the authenticity of a watch. The addition of non-genuine parts to any Rolex watch renders it a counterfeit as defined by Federal Law. It is therefore unlawful to sell or offer such modified watch for sale. Rolex will not service watches altered with non-genuine parts or accessories. All parts and accessories are replaced on trade-in basis. All component prices are calculated on an exchange basis including any potential return of precious material.

Refinishing of the case and bracelet is recommended to be performed at the time of a regular full factory service. More frequent refinishing may result in accelerated wear

WTG, Travis. So glad it all worked out. Weird about the hand, but you’ll get it sorted.

Good to hear. I have to admit, I was a little concerned you might have been taken.

Whew, thanks… I swore I would never go grey let alone a private seller. Good experience and enjoyed the rush but sticking with my AD going forward.

Paid under $15.1k

Took a gamble. Thankfully PayPal good and services would’ve given me 100% refund.

Congrats OP.

It all boils down to cost savings vs risk. Sounds like the buyer mitigated a significant amount of risk with his due diligence. Now, if that took him 2 hours and he saved $3k. Well worth it.

I believe many of the trusted sellers here aren’t much of a cost savings. A high level of comfort with trust is what they offer which gives them their edge.
