Incoming 40th Birthday OP!
So this actually turned into more of a 41st birthday celebration watch but at least I finally got it!
My 40th birthday was in early December of 2022 and I went to the flagship Rolex store in Boston the summer of 2022 to put my name in. After an awful experience there, a scathing review, and a halfhearted attempt by them at "damage control" after the fact, I figured they would never call me and they still haven't. I left my name with another AD in a neighboring state and that one came through; a year and a half wait for an entry level Rolex but they came through and I got my first choice of the 36mm OP [Ref. 126000] with green dial at MSRP. I actually got it right after Christmas of 2023 [so a few weeks after my 41st birthday] but couldn't wear it until today as I had to wait for two extra links to be ordered which took another three weeks. I'm happy to finally be able to share with everyone. |

Congrats! I’ve had a green OP41 since August, it gets lot of wear.
BTW, it may be the least expensive line of Rolex but there is nothing “entry level” about the OPs. The same movement shared with other models, high quality brushed Oyster bracelet, etc. |

I think it would be great if we stopped referring to the OP as an entry level watch. They might be the most affordable but entry level just sounds like it’s all about the price point. They are tough to get because of various sizes, colors and the demand. The demand is there because they are simple and clean. And for some the cheapest Rolex that they can afford.
