A Few Vacation Pics

Here are a few shots taken on the NC coast. The first 3 are HDR and I have no idea what that is. I'm sure you camera pros do.

Very nice family outing, Boyd.

The grandkids look like they had a hoot.

I've been on that battleship. Very Impressive.

Great pics!

Reminds me of when I was a child. Each summer we would go to Nag's Head or Duck. Some of the best times of my life.

Frankie, my son took the pics and told me it was HDR. His hobby has turned into a part time business. Cameras are as expensive as Rolex's

That's the pier at Ocean Isle Beach, just a small island with condo's and houses. Very quite place.

You're killin' me, Boyd!!!!

I was in ILM most of July, spending time with my parents & my in-laws. After growing up there, I could not wait to escape, but now, after living elsewhere for the last 22 years, I can better appreciate it.

Thanks for sharing the pics. The battleship brings back great memories of grade school field trips.

Also, your son's photo skills are excellent! Great pics of the pier, cross & hobie cat. Little red's anatomy lesson is funny, also.

September's Nor-Easter 2008

We picked the wrong week to go to Corolla, last year!

We were there while the nor-easter blew in...

Pounding surf, whipping sand.

The time spent with out friends was the greatest, though.

We REALLY got a chance to know each other much better, the twenty of us, since we were trapped together for the week!

We'll see how well we chose our week this year.

(Pics taken with Sony DSC-T50 by me, a non-pro : )
