I love the DSSD! That watch definitely makes a statement! Unfortunately, I have never had the wrist to be able to pull off wearing one. Otherwise, I'd love to own one! Nice of the agent to hold it while you walked through. There are videos online where TSA agents are stealing people's watches out of the bins before it goes through the x-ray machine.

How could they possibly pull that off? I’d raise hell.

Get a Rolex travel
pouch or a single watch case for travel. I take it off and place in carry on zipper up. Just make sure.

I usually have my regular driver when travel so, i take off in the car
watch, necklace, belt, wallet and goes on carry on . make sure to put watch or valuables, (ring or chain if any) in secured travel pouch (Rolex Cartier or a zippered small round case meant for storing jewjerybetc. Put it my carry on bag. Then still lately yes as mentioned earlier, my Cartier love bracelet sets off the alarm , in USA, Paris, London recently. I’m Clear/TsA pre check and take also my shoes off. But either the metal in jeans or Love bracelet sets it off.

So thinking to take off bracelet in next trip to test it. and pants with regular button (non metal) to find out what’s triggered the alarm.

Best to take off rather than risk putting last minute in a hurry a Rolex in a small tray!

And ty to avoid the padding etc by agent.

Just went through security at MCO, no issues. Never knew metal detectors had a sensitivity setting.

Seems like the airports I travel have recently upped the metal detector sensitivity. Watches that never alarmed now do. Isn’t worth the hassle so I just stick them into my Oakley Vault in my bag when going through now.

DSSD Set off all the alarms.

I’ve never had any issues with any of my watches when traveling domestically in the US and going through TSA Pre. But recently I had the scanner go off on my full YG Daytona while flying out of Zurich and they had me put it in my bag to go through the scanner.

I’ve noticed in general the scanners in Europe are set slightly more sensitive than here in the US. I now keep a small watch pouch in my bag just in case.
