I also have 8.25" wrists and I think it is the perfect size. I had the original DSSD and hated it but may end up with a Cameron model eventually since they widened the bracelet.

Size and feel are subject to what you are used to wearing. Sd43 feels small when you’re used to wearing DSSD. In reality sd43 is a large watch too. Love them both on different days. And use both - not worried too much about scratches.

Don't always worry about dings and scratches, It only shows you're enjoying your watch.
