I feel that a rubber strap may change the wearability in a negative way. Most rubber strap watches I own do not wear as well as the bracelet equivalents due to the flare from the stiff rubber strap. For example, Overseas wears best on its leather strap, Aquanaut, MB&F LM classics vs EVO.

With a rubber strap, it may negate the advantage you mentioned above and makes the watch wears larger.

I asked Pierre directly about a future rubber strap option for the Linesport owners and he said no plans for it.

Bummer man; the issue is that making rubber straps is coat intensive (molds and iterations) and the low volumes do t justify the cost for a 3rd party to develop. But I would really love it!

Me too. Seems silly to me as they offered rubber for past iterations. They could do it easily. I don’t believe it would be cost prohibitive for a brand that sells every watch they make 3 years in advance.

Eventually joined the club with ARS2 yellow. Had to go grey. Been on the list, at Geneva, for a couple of years but neither piece forthcoming, as yet (no doubt any time soon either).

Anyway…. I’m happy that I bit the bullet and eventually have one on my wrist.

Here's mine. Love the rubber on the aluminium. 53 grams all-in.

Is the titanium case and bracelet treated like Titalyt case on Elegante? They look similar colour.
Wondering how the titanium case hold up to daily wear?

It’s some sort of treatment almost like PVD. Holds up pretty well from my estimation. There some small marks on one of mine but titanium is generally very strong and durable. Basically you can cut it deep with hard whacks but you won’t get desk diving surface wear like you may with a SS Rolex.

Thanks for the reply, So its good for daily wear. Good to know it handles daily wear better then a SS watch.

I'm thinking about an ARS2
